About AccuTx - Our Mission Statement and Company History

Mission Statement

To provide quality therapy tools, mobile applications, and educational resources for Speech Language Pathologists at a price-point that is accessible to all therapists.

ABout Our name

AccuTx is based off of the words "accurate" and "treatment" and has been shortened to Accu - Treat, or
/æku trit/ for our phonetically inclined friends out there!

It all started when...

We are located in the Northwest Ohio area and were formed in 2015. Founders Emily Russell and Dan Peterson wanted to create an SLP owned and operated company that could provide therapists with high-quality, evidenced-based products at an affordable price point.

In early 2016, we launched our first mobile app - AccuTime - which helped therapists manage their workday productivity. AccuTIme is available for both Android and iOS phones and tablets.

Later that year, we launched our first therapy tool, a CTAR ball called AccuTuck, which has been our most successful product to date.

Finally, at the end of 2016, we created our second mobile app, AccuBook, which is a Memory and Orientation Book creator. AccuBook is available on both Android and iOS phones and tablets, but is optimized for a tablet device.

In 2017, we added a partner, Dr. Rodney Gabel, as we continue to grow in order to develop new products. In the fall of 2017, we launched a Continuing Education Course platform called AccuTx University.

We have many exciting products on the horizon. Like us on Facebook in order to learn more!
