This seminar, part of AccuTx University’s bi-monthly continuing education program for area clinicians, is offered for 3 contact hours. These contact hours may be used for ASHA and Ohio Board continuing education credits.

A description of the course follows:

Identifying stuttering in preschool age children can by quite challenging. During this seminar, issues related to diagnosing and making decisions about treatment for preschool age children will be discussed.

Learning Objectives: 

        1.  Identify important behaviors that accompany stuttering in young children.

        2.  Describe key environmental factors that are important to making decisions for treatment. 

        3.  Discuss common types of therapy procedures and approaches. 

All Friday Coffee Break Seminars will be held at the Toledo Speech and Stuttering Clinic, located at 3409 N. Holland Sylvania Rd., Toledo, OH 43615.
