A description of the course follows:

Conducting stuttering assessment and treatment requires critical thinking, flexibility and nuanced decision making. Within the school setting, this process can become very challenging. The purpose of this seminar is to discuss the basics of stuttering therapy and how to help children in the school setting.

Learning Objectives

  1. Identify basic procedures that are inherent to all stuttering assessments.

  2. Conduct an assessment of speech fluency and discuss measures on how to treat.

  3. Problem solve basic decisions about treatment through the use of case studies.

All Friday Coffee Break Seminars will be held at the Toledo Speech and Stuttering Clinic, located at 3409 N. Holland Sylvania Rd., Toledo, OH 43615.

AccuTx University has chosen to offer these courses at an affordable and accessible cost to allow for participants to partake in continuing education experiences locally and without high out of pocket expense.
